Wow, honored to be included among so many amazing writers and creators! This is a really well-curated list. Gave me a few names that I need to check out now!
This is incredibly kind of you. I deeply appreciate the share Cassandra! A wonderful work of service and to anyone reading and wondering how/ where to start/ if to subscribe to all. Follow your gut on that.
I regularly read Sarah Fay and Russell Nohelty who have over three years proven experience here - I also made them my colleague-friend! Ooo and I have membership at Hype Yourself. Lucy is awesome! ✨✨✨
This is a treasure article. So much to learn. My 25 cents to this community
How many subscribers do you need to make $120,000/year on Substack?
Let’s keep it simple:
This was a treasure article. A reference. So much to learn. Thank you. I recently posted a note you might want to use. I am not on the Substack growth topic. I am the grow your business topic. Here it is:
Assume you’re monetizing only through paid subscriptions, with a 3% conversion rate from free to paid.
Here’s what it looks like at different price points:
$5/month → You’d need 66,000 free subscribers
$10/month → 33,000 free subscribers
$15/month → 22,300 free subscribers
$20/month → 16,500 free subscribers
The higher the price, the fewer subscribers you need to hit your income goal.
So the real question is: how do you decide what your newsletter is worth?
