Cassandra - As a Substack newbie, I appreciate your top notch insights, as well as who to follow and keep up with, regarding how to build out your Substack community. Helps me with my own wellbeing equation!
Super helpful thank you. I've actually been finding quite rewarding the part of engaging with people on the platform and exchanging meaningful ideas. I don't think I would still enjoy being on here if it wasn't for it. It's great to see others in their work and to be seen.
When creating your customer avatar (AKA customer, audience, target market, persona, etc.) don’t be afraid to niche down A LOT! There are over 8 billion people in the world, do you need all of them to be your customers? How many customers do you really want? See, not that many. The goal is to speak directly to a small group of very interested people. As time goes on, to stay relevant and fresh, you will add to your offerings and message to include more people. Hope that helped a little to narrow things down. It’s not the easiest task BUT worth it as it will turn into gold!
what an amazing roll up. Thank you for including me here, Casandra

Awesome round up!
So many beautiful tips.
I follow most of these writers, they are right.
I’d say customer avatar and consistency are the most important stuff. Still building and figuring out the first one, but slowly, getting there.

Every time someone says this, I think about it even more.
Then forget.
Now I am going to write 3 ideal Avatars and write it them. Like small group of different friends. Or maybe they are my friends 😉
