It has never been easier to start a business or create apps even with limited resources. As long as you have an idea, many of the traditional barriers are just absolutely gone.
Unfortunately, the same risks exist in many methods for building MVPs.
People learning to code to build their products.
People hiring junior developers who are more affordable but don't know what they don't know.
People using platforms like WordPress which require regular oversight and updates.
Obviously products that need to capture sensitive information have different requirements. For example, I would use Shopify over trying to build my own PCI compliant checkout (regardless of if I was AI coding or human coding).
What do you think AI coding platforms can do to make products built on their platforms more secure than the alternatives? Is there a way they could turn it into a competitive advantage?
How many vibe-coded apps will fall to pieces, exposing user privacy, and compromise organizational data? Are vibe-coders ready to be held accountable by angry clients and regulators? Time to get the popcorn and watch the fall out!
AI assisted coding is an absolute superpower. I have created three products since November and launched one to production.m that is doing very well. Total ❤️
Sounds great. I can build pieces of software in AI now and edit them but having some systems to put it all together would really speed things up.
